Qualitative Principles

We hate the word “panel”. As a matter of fact, when asked our panel composition, we reply we do not have one per se.

A panel is defined as a group of respondents recruited to take part in a number of market research sessions or projects over a period of time.

At Medicys, we think all projects are unique and merit their own respondent audience. With this in mind we “custom recruit” for all of them.

It means that rather than just sending 1,000 online links to a study in the hope that 50 respondents will qualify and reply, we prefer to call our respondents, explain the study, brief them, screen them, and only send them their link when we know their practice is relevant to the study objectives.

It allows for better control of the project and quotas as well as a better understanding of the possible issues, which can then be fed back, meaningfully, to our clients. It also means that we can guarantee that all our respondents are actual healthcare professionals, only complete once, are from the right specialty and region.

This also prevents respondent fatigue and anger when, day in, day out, they receive links for studies for which they screen out.

Finally it also means that each respondent, prior to completion, will receive their BHBIA documents and that in the case of an adverse event we have all of their details should we need to go back to them for further investigation
